Colour Run Fun! THANK – YOU for your support!
Last Friday, 17th March the school oval was transformed into a sea of families, colour, obstacles, water and mud!
Thanks to the Colour Run team and all the volunteer parents, friends and teachers for ensuring everything ran smoothly. We were so lucky to have the firefighters on site for the evening! Thanks to Willsallen family and Tamworth Fire & Rescue.
The BBQ ran hot, again thanks to Esteem Kids for assisting in making the BBQ free for all families. The ice-cream van line was huge, and we thank Delish for happily serving all the colourful children and their donation to the PT&F. The hay stack at the start of the run was supplied, delivered and collected, thanks goes to the Tonkin family.
Thanks also to the PT&F committee and helpers. Special thanks to Josh and Bec Johnston who helped with so much coordination and planning (despite no longer being on the committee). To the teachers who agreed to be slimed, thank-you!! The slime fun delighted the students and motivated the fundraising. You were such good sports and we thank you.
Our fundraising tally is now at $40 239.39!!!!
All funds raised will go towards the Stage 3 ‘Engine Room’ which has been described by Mr Clery in last week’s newsletter. Thank you to everyone who donated to this cause for our fabulous school.
From Friday, 24th, students can hop on the School Fundraiser website www.schoolfunrun.com.au and claim their prizes (which will be delivered to student in Term 2).
