The Principal's Pen

Next year holds some exciting developments for Cornerstone, particularly in the area of our staffing. This is a good opportunity to announce that we have recently confirmed the appointment of Mr Will Meyer as Head of Secondary, starting in 2021. He has been with us in a relief capacity this year and we look forward to his continued leadership in our College.

I also want to let you know about the progress of our plans for our two Primary campuses. Ms Judy Nolan has been working as Head of Primary, serving both campuses. Recognising the growth of our Primary numbers, Judy will now move to oversee the Dunsborough campus, particularly focusing on the development of the provision of learning support there. To facilitate that move, Mr Matt Meyerink will step up to manage the Busselton Primary campus. His established work with positive pastoral care will continue as he picks up the coordination of the other aspects of the Primary years here. We look forward the work of these two leaders complementing each other to the benefit of the two Primary schools.

There are more plans for changes next year as our software systems are fully integrated with CCM schools. There are lots of benefits associated with belonging to a larger group of schools and we’ll let you know how these changes affect parents and students as the systems come online for us here at Cornerstone.
