Food Technology Practical Exams - Year 10

Last week and this week, our talented Year 10 Food Technology students took part in a practical exam from home, making and decorating a Birthday Cake for their unit of work Food for Special Occasions. All students were required to make either a Birthday Cake or a Family meal, if they did not have cake tins at home. 

One very unusual cake was by talented student James Mc's creation of a KFC bucket of chicken and chips- Yes that is an actual cake!

All students did a superb job and are to be congratulated on their efforts. Well done Year 10. 

Naked Cakes - Year 9

In week 3, our talented Year 9 Food Technology students took part in a practical exam from home, making and decorating a Naked Cake for their unit of work Food Trends. All students were required to make either a naked cake or a family meal, if they did not have cake tins at home. All students did a fantastic job and are to be congratulated on their efforts.  

Also one of our lovely students, Dana F decided to put her Naked cake up on Facebook to donate to a frontline worker in the community to brighten up their week. One very lucky nurse received the beautiful cake and we thank all nurses for their duty in these stressful times.​
