Netball

On Saturday 8th September, McGuire College Under 13 Girls Netball team played in the grand final against Wanganui Park. All girls played hard but were defeated in a well fought game. Well done girls on making it to the grand final.

Junior Summer Sport

On Tuesday 18th September, our Year 7 and 8 students took part in day 1 of Inter school junior summer sport. Our students competed in table tennis and super 8’s cricket.

Our cricket teams ventured to McKewen Reserve and had mixed results but all who took part enjoyed a great day of fun and sunshine, with some students displaying some wonderful skills, with others discovering skills and an enjoyment of cricket they previously didn’t have.

Our two Year 8 boys table tennis teams travelled to Tatura where despite finding the standard tough, fought on all day, with all who took part thoroughly enjoying their day out.

Well done to all students and a big thank you to staff who assisted with the day. Stay tuned for Day 2 of junior sport on Wednesday 17th October.
