Why not get the family together, roundup the girls, complete the tasks, earn points and receive rewards.  Running over the September school holidays, simply download Scavify from the App store or Google Play and then go hunting!

If you have any questions relating to the roundup, please do not hesitate to contact the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre on 5832 9330.

Aquamoves

Aquamoves is excited to launch a new Youth Membership, exclusively for 14 and 15 year old youth to use the Aquamoves facilities.

It is critical for youth to be active and improve their overall health & wellbeing through personal engagement and exercise. Just 30 minutes of activity per day offers many benefits and can reduce stress & anxiety greatly.

Never before have we offered a membership where 14 and 15 year old youth can attend the Aquamoves Gym without an adult. A Youth Member at Aquamoves will be supervised by a gym instructor- between the hours of 3:30pm and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, Youth Members can attend the gym with an adult over the age of 18.

A comprehensive health & wellbeing assessment will be conducted by one of our qualified gym instructors and a personalised gym program written.

We are now also allowing Youth Members to attend Group Fitness Classes without an adult present, from the age of 14 (it was previously 16) they can access unlimited classes.

We want to encourage all 14 and 15 year olds who maybe don’t participate in team sports, or youths just wanting to improve their overall health & wellbeing to attend Aquamoves in a supervised supportive environment.

We have a special introductory Membership Price of $13.50 per week.

"Show Us Ya Wheels"

Show Us Ya Wheels in Numurkah is just a few months away – Sunday Dec 2nd. You may or may not be aware of our event. We are charity car show that has been running since 2001 from which all profits are donated back into our local community.

This year we are running two new events – A Postie Bike Muster and a ‘Chuck a motor on it’ build challenge.

The “Chuck A Motor On It” Challenge may be of more interest as we see it as a great opportunity for parents to connect with their kids and build something together. The idea is to add a motor to something that wouldn’t normally have a motor on it, such as a toilet, couch, esky,

shopping trolley, etc, or the second category is to build a mini hot-rod, go-kart, lawnmower racer or whatever takes your fancy. There are trophies up for grabs too.
