Ecological Conversion 

The Earth Care Squad hosted the whole school assembly this week.  The members shared with the school the things we have been doing around the school and we welcomed Lee from KESAB to St Gabriel's School.

Lee has set a challenge for each class to see how much we can recycle and how little we can put into our blue landfill bins.

Each family can help reduce waste in our landfill bins by using reusable containers top pack lunches.  Employing a 'Nude Food' strategy will also help reduce waste.  The term 'Nude Food' simply means reducising the amout of wrapping that goes into lunch boxes by using recyclable containers etc.  St Gabriel's Earth Care Squad hopes every family can make a difference to the waste we generate at school.
