Curriculum Matters

Awards afternoon on Tuesday 12th December at 12:30pm the 2017 Awards presentations, will be held in the Kildare Catholic College Hall. This is an opportunity for the school community to gather together to acknowledge a year’s worth of learning.  Orientation Day today, 1st December, we were joined by the new cohort of Year 7 2018. Students have experienced a day at Kildare, moving to multiple lessons throughout the day to simulate the pattern of study in high school. Students took part in PE, TAS, HSIE, Science, iSTEM and Music lessons. Students also completed a writing activity by responding to the question “Explain why you are looking forward to coming to Kildare in 2018”. The purpose of this is to assist teachers to plan for students in their classes next year. Mr Whelan identified four key points to students about their learning at Kildare.

Your ability is not fixed

Expect a year’s worth of learning

Work to maximise learning and wellbeing

Smile, have a go and know we are excited to have you join our Kildare school community.
