President's Report

Hi Livingston families,

A big welcome to all our Livingston families in 2022, especially to all our new families.  It's great to see all the children excited to be at kinder with big smiles on their faces as they get to know their teachers and classmates. It's so good to watch the children come out of their session so happy.

I would like to thank those parents who have volunteered to join our Committee of Management this year.  We held our first committee meeting a couple of weeks ago and it is terrific to have such engaged and dedicated parents to help lead our kindergarten community.   We have a couple of fundraising events coming up including our Easter Egg Raffle.  Please look out for the raffle tickets and there will be donation tubs located near the front door or please hand to your teacher at drop off or pick up. We appreciate your support buying a raffle ticket and donating Easter treats.

We have our first function of the year locked in.  The Livingston Disco is booked for Sunday 1 May from 2pm - 4.30pm at the Highett Bowls Club. We are so excited for the children and families to come together and have a fun afternoon. We also have annual kinder photos booked for the week commencing May 23rd, for all groups.

2023 enrolment registrations for Livingston Kindergarten open on 1 May and close 19 June.  Just a reminder, even if you are currently enrolled at our kindergarten, you will still need to register with Bayside Council for a 2023 placement.  It's hard to think about next year's enrolment when we have just begun the year but it is an important process if you wish to attend in 2023.
