Senior Art Exhibition open until Friday 28th January

The Emerald Secondary School Senior Art Exhibition opening was held on Monday 6th December at the Hills Hub. Mr Fyfe’s Year 12 Studio Arts students showcased their final artworks in the magnificent spaces in the hub. There were also several talented Year 11 student’s final artworks on display. It was interesting to look at the wide array of subject matter and themes explored by students. Several talented students who have graduated from the Year 12 Music Performance class also performed during the function. Thank you to our wonderful parents and families and supporters of students who attended on the night. Thank you also to Eleni Stathatos for opening the exhibition. If you missed the opening, don’t worry, the show is open until 28th January so pop in and have a look.

Further to this, we are extremely proud to announce that students Alyssa Dwyer, Damian McKenna, Elijah Fernandez, Ella Chawkley, Ella Baker, Jade Poort, Paige Ireson, Taran Seamer and William Burchill were accepted into the 2022 Yarra Ranges VCE Creative Showcase. This exhibition presents diverse and exciting collection of works by the region’s most inspiring emerging artists, and will be displayed at Memo Gallery in Healesville from Friday February 4th 2022 until Sunday February 27th 2022, with an opening night at 7pm on February 4th.
