Snowy River Leadership School

Week 3 at Snowy River School of Student Leadership

The time has gone by very fast at Snowy, it now feels like home and everyone has become one big family here. To kick Week 3 off with a push, we went on a 16km bike ride, averaging a great speed of 25km/hr. After this long and exhausting ride, we got the opportunity to learn cardio pulmonary resuscitation - or CPR. We learnt what the correct procedures were in order to perform CPR effectively.

This week has also been busy busy because we had NAPLAN. It was our first time doing it on the laptops and it worked great! Everyone flew through it with confidence.

After working hard at NAPLAN for 2 days, we had the opportunity to do our second surfing lesson for the term. We all look forward to surfing and have found a new activity when at the beach. The waves were rough and massive. We all have improved dramatically; nearly all of us are able to stand up.

Throughout our time here at SSL so far, we have learnt many crucial life lessons and met lifelong friends. We love the environment we are currently in and don't want to go home (just yet).
