IMPORTANT TERM 1 2023 DATES
Below is a list of some of the main dates on the school calendar for Term 1 2023. Families need to be aware that events which involve organisations outside of St John’s, such as the St Andrew’s Parish, may at times need to be rescheduled. Please be aware that these changes are beyond our control.
2024 ENROLMENT INFO NIGHT
Our 2024 Enrolment Information Evening will be held in the School Hall, tonight at 7:00pm. The evening is targeted more towards new families wishing to access the school. Families living within the school catchment area who are interested in enrolling their child are welcome to attend. The evening will include the following:
- A tour of the building and facilities.
- A presentation on the values and educational approach of the school.
- An outline of the enrolment criteria and process.
- Questions from the floor.
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION MEETING
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered to Baptised Catholic students in Year 3. Students are required to attend a Preparation Meeting with a Parent on Thursday 16th March @ 7pm in the School Hall. The Sacrament will be celebrated the following week on Thursday 23rd March @ 7pm in the School Hall.
SACRAMENT DATES 2023
The dates of this year’s sacramental celebrations have been finalised. We thank families for your patience as we worked with the Bishop’s Office, the St Andrew’s Parish and the other Parish Primary Schools to schedule these dates.

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL 2023 DATES
Below are the scheduled meeting dates for the year:
- Tuesday, 14th March at 7pm
- Tuesday, 9th May at 7pm
- Tuesday, 25th July at 7pm
- Tuesday 22nd August at 7pm
- Tuesday, 17th October at 7pm
FINAL PREP REST DAY
To assist Prep students in coping with the fatigue, which is associated with commencing school, the first five Wednesdays of Term One are designated rest days for Prep students. A reminder that TOMORROW is our FINAL REST DAY for Prep students.
