Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

It’s hard to believe that the end of the school year has arrived and Christmas is a little over two weeks away! I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of your support during the year. It has been a truly memorable year and I am so glad that you and your children were a part of it.

A big thank you to Emma for designing, planning, organising and painting our installation in the 'Tonny Hay Bail Trail'. Emma's amazing talents, along with help from the students of St Pat's has ensured that our installation is a favourite on this years trail.

This semesters 'Sewing Group' finished their beautiful patchwork bags. After a term of learning and hard work, the hours of time and effort have paid off and the girls got to take their bags home with them. A big thank you to Pat, Leanne, and Jillian from Tongala Community Activities Centre -TCAC & Tongala Child Care for sharing their time and expertise with us this year.

This semesters 'Mens Shed' groups concluded their learning by visiting the Kyabram Mens Shed on Wednesday. It was a great opportunity for the students to have a look around the the mens work shed and see where all the magic happens. They also appreciated seeing some of the masterpieces the men have created. The students gave the men a wonderful thank you gift- their very own St Pat's apron.

On Tuesday we had our whole school 'Orientation Day' in preparation for 2023. All students had an opportunity to spend time with their new class group in their new classrooms. Some students had the opportunity to meet their new teachers. There was a real buzz of excitement amongst all the students and staff!! Our 2023 Foundation students had the opportunity to meet their buddies, which was super exciting for all students involved.

All students have been practising singing their Christmas Carol's in preparation for the Tongala Christmas Carols on Saturday night. All students have been invited to perform at this community event:

Our Rochester Christmas Tree is well under way- collecting Christmas presents for the children of Rochester. We are aiming to collect 120 gifts before Wednesday. Feel free to add a gift under the tree, these gifts could include toys, board games, sports equipment etc.
