Year 8B had an awesome adventure in the new North Campus campground area. They used hiking packs, erected tents and practised how to set up Trangia stoves during their OES session.

Years 6 & 7 Elective Taster Session

During the week, students from Year 6 had the opportunity to attend some elective classes in the Junior Secondary area. This was done to not only spark their curiosity, but also to assist them in the process of choosing their elective preferences for Year 7 in 2021. It was wonderful to see them engaging in the activities, ask questions from the various teachers, and share in their excitement of joining Junior Secondary next year. 

On Monday, another group of Year 7 students for 2021 were also given the opportunity to visit and learn what each elective is and ask questions from the teachers. For this group of students, it was the first time for some of them to be on campus and have a good look around at what will be their classrooms for 2021. It was a joy to see their nerves slowly disappear as they asked questions and met other students in their classes for 2021, albeit in small groups of ten. 

The Years 7-9 team asks that you pray for the students at BCC and for those who will be joining us in 2021. This time of the year is full of a lot of excitement, questions, and some nerves about what next year will bring!
