Parents and Friends Association

                 Interested in helping?

We are always welcoming new helpers to our activities, it's never too late to put your hand up!

The Mother's Day Stall is around the corner and this event is run by volunteers from our school community. The stall is held over TWO DAYS and volunteers will be helping students pick out items for their loved ones. This event is incredibly popular amongst our volunteers as we have the opportunity to see all the students when their class visits the stall.

If you are available on 11th & 12th May and wish to help, please send an email to: wyndhamvaleps.pfa@gmail.com

Term 1

What an incredible start to 2023!

Thank you to everyone who participated or contributed to our Easter Raffle and Fairy Floss stall. We will be able to share the final tally soon but can honestly say that we enjoyed sorting through the mountains of chocolate and serving floss to our school friends and families.

Funds raised by the PFA during the school year are used to assist in improving the school environment for students and to fund future activities. We are looking for new fundraising goals and would love to hear from families.

Scholastic Bookclub

Issue 3 is out!

The best gift a parent can give a child is the love of books plus the joy and benefits of

independent reading for fun. Children who read at home, or are read to, have a head start on reading success in school.

Reminder: each book club order helps earn   free books and teaching materials for our                                                                                              classrooms.

Mother's Day Stall

This annual event is only 2 weeks away and we cannot wait to see all the smiles when the students get to choose items for the special people in their lives.

All items available for purchase will be priced $1-$6 and students have the opportunity to choose more than one item when their class visits the stall. The schedule for the class visits will be released closer to the event. All students are asked to bring cash and a plastic bag on the day.

The Mother's Day Raffle is back and all students who purchase from the stall will automatically be in the running to win one of our wonderful hampers!

                                                         Wonder Recycling Rewards

We have a new activity this term which rewards our school for recycling!

The Wonder Recycling Rewards competition is quite simple:

  • Collect our empty bread bags and place them in the collection bin located at the front office.
  • When the collection bin is full, we will return it to Wonder who will rewards us with points.
  • Once the competition has ended, the points will be used to purchase new sporting equipment.

Here's the best part, any brand bread bag will be accepted so long as it is soft plastic and is free of crumbs.

Start collecting now! For more information, visit: https://www.wonder.com.au/articles/parent-faqs

Billy G's Cookie Dough

This incredibly successful and delicious fundraiser is back and ready to provide families with dough-licious treats for the winter school holidays.

Billy G's is an online based fundraiser which will begin on 10th May. Using the same method as the Fun Run, families can share the fundraiser online to receive more orders as well as purchase                                                   tubs for themselves.

Our school will received $4 from each tub sold and we managed raise over $7,500 for the past 2 years we've participated. Details will be coming home soon so keep your eyes peeled!
