School Captain's Message

Hi Students and Parents welcome back to Term 2!

We had a fantastic Term1, all the JSC were chosen and have been working hard to come up with ideas about ways to make our school environment better. The JSC and Miss Vandy wrote an expression of interest to a program called Habitat Heroes. They work with the Wyndham Council and come to schools to create an environment in the school grounds where plants and animals can be cared for. Only 5 schools in the whole Wyndham area get this opportunity and we were chosen! 

Next week the JSC will have an incursion with Habitat Heroes and we will begin transforming our old garden area into a new garden/habitat that all students can look after and enjoy. Thankyou to Riona and Eshna from the JSC, and their families, who went to the Saturday Habitat Heroes session to learn about plants wildlife and caring for the environment. A great effort!
