Principal's Report

Carly Avery

Dear Parents and Friends,

Thank you to those who were able to attend our Learning Expo on Monday, students always love sharing their work with you. It was also wonderful to show off our new spaces to those able to attend.

Over the school holidays, the asbestos materials in the administration roof will be removed. No one other than the contractors will be onsite during this time. Following the removal of the materials there will be some finishing off work by the builders and electricians. Hopefully, we will be able to move into the new spaces early next term.

Reminders:

Friday 20th September 2:15 pm finish (Last day of term three.)

Monday 7th October School Closure Day (First day of term four.)

Italian Camp

Tomorrow our Year Six students will attend the Catholic Education Sandhurst Secondary Schools Italian camp for the day. Secondary students will lead a range of Italian activities throughout the day. A great opportunity for our Year Six students to see secondary students in leadership roles and utilise their Italian skills.

School Uniform

As you may be aware we are working towards a stronger focus on students in correct school uniform. Please see the included uniform list for clarification. It has been great to see students responding to this focus and wearing our uniform with pride.

Next year a review of the uniform will be a focus for the School Council. I encourage any parents who may want to be part of this to consider joining the Council at the beginning of 2025 or seek out a School Council member (including myself) with suggestions/ points of clarification etc.
