GSSC Netball

This year has been an incredible season for netball at Greater Shepparton Secondary College, with our teams showcasing outstanding skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

The highlight of the season was undoubtedly the success of our 15&U S2 GSSC Eagles, who were crowned 2024 Premiers after a decisive 50-31 victory over Tatura in the grand final. A special mention goes to Chiara Walker, who was named MVP for her exceptional performance during the final.

The team’s success was bolstered by the brilliant efforts of Jemma Milne and Amelia Reid, who shared the season's Best and Fairest award.

In the 15&U S1 division, our GSSC Wolves fought valiantly but narrowly missed out on the title, finishing as 2024 Runners Up after a close 46-47 match against the Mooroopna Cats Indigo.

Our 13&U S2 GSSC Wildcats also had a strong season, earning the 2024 Runners Up title with a final score of 28-34 against Mooroopna Cats Blue. Bill McKenzie was recognized for his consistent efforts throughout the season, being named the team's Best and Fairest. The Wildcats were expertly guided by their coach, Jordyn Smith, whose leadership was key to their success.

In addition to our team's accomplishments, a special congratulations goes to Olivia Buchan, who was awarded Best and Fairest for her performances with the Shepparton Saints Diamonds in the 17&U division.

Well done to all our players, coaches, and supporters for making this netball season one to remember!
