Years F - 2

It has been a busy and productive time in our F/1/2 classroom. In Literacy, students have been exploring Aesop’s fables, with a focus on identifying the moral of each story and discussing the character traits demonstrated by the animals, such as flattery and greed. These discussions have supported students to think more deeply about characters and the lessons that can be learned from texts.

Our Prep students reached an exciting milestone this week, successfully writing their first sentence during Phonics sessions. This is a wonderful achievement and reflects their growing confidence and commitment to their learning.

Students also thoroughly enjoyed participating in Harmony Day this week, proudly dressing to celebrate diversity and inclusion. We look forward to continuing these celebrations and are excited to see what students choose to wear on Monday for National Eucalyptus Day.
