Hi everyone,
Welcome to Week 7! I hope you’re all doing well.
The students have been doing a fantastic job with our Phonics Plus learning.
- Foundation students have been working on the sounds a, t, i, s, p, n.
- Grade 1 students have been exploring the different spellings for the ‘ae’ and ‘ee’ sounds.
- Grade 2 students have been revising spelling patterns they learnt last year and looking at the ‘eigh’ spelling.
In Integrated Studies, we’ve been learning about different weather patterns. Last week we looked at different types of clouds and how they form. We then engaged in an experiment ‘Rainbow Rain’ where we used shaving cream and food dye to explore how rain clouds work.
