Each week at Team Westbreen, we celebrate students demonstrating our school values at our assembly together on Wednesday mornings at 9:05 am. All families are welcome to attend.

Please note the below Students of the Week will be presented with their certificate at assembly on Wednesday 22nd April, 2026 (First week of Term 2)

2026 - Glenroy District Premiers

Westbreen Girls Softball Team

The Westbreen Girls Softball Team braved the cold and windy conditions at Oak Park Pools Oval last Friday, when they competed in the District Grand Final. Ten girls represented our entire squad of twenty, playing against St Francis de Sales Primary School. The match consisted of two batting and two innings each, with each student displaying the skills they have developed throughout Term 1. As the game progressed, our Westbreen girls showcased our school values, teamwork and fair play.

In the end, the Westbreen Girls Softball team proved too good for their opposition on the day, winning 14-11. We are extremely proud of the entire team for getting to the Grand Final and playing so well. The team has now qualified for Division Finals, held in Term 4.
