Volunteers Needed

As we begin a new school year and continue working towards our goal of Outstanding Learner Growth, we are reaching out to our wider school community for support. Our Lady’s is seeking volunteers to assist with supported book-reading sessions as part of our MacqLit intervention program.
These reinforced reading sessions provide students with valuable one-to-one reading practice for 20 minutes, three to four times per week.
Volunteering at Our Lady’s Primary School
At Our Lady’s, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. To support this, all volunteers are required to complete a few important steps before starting their role.
What’s required?
- Complete a Volunteer Registration Form (including WWCC and two referees)
- Complete the CESL School Volunteer Induction online
- Read and acknowledge our key policies:
- Child Safe Code of Conduct
- Staff & Student Professional Boundaries
- Photography & Video Policy
These steps help us maintain a safe and caring environment for every child.
If you would like to volunteer and do not yet have a Victorian Working with Children Check, please contact our Administration Officer, Adelle, who can assist.
If you have time available and would like to play an important role in supporting our students, please complete the Expression of Interest Form. From there, we can provide all necessary training information.
Your involvement is greatly appreciated and helps strengthen our school community.
For further information about this, please see our Senior Leader: Inclusive Education, Michelle D'Antonio.
