2026 Festival Planning

Dear Parents,
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! We are in the early stages of planning the 2026 RNPS Festival, and we are looking for enthusiastic and creative parents to join our 2026 Festival Planning Team.
The RNPS Festival is a cherished tradition that brings our school community together for a day of fun, celebration, and memorable experiences. As we look ahead to October 2026, we want to make this festival the best one yet, and your creativity, ideas, and energy can help us achieve that goal.
Being part of the Festival Planning Team is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, connect with other parents, and contribute to a wonderful event that our children will cherish. We have lots of planning documentation from 2023, which will make the planning process easy. Whether you have experience in event planning or a passion to help, we welcome your input.
We need 2 people aligned to each of the following planning streams as part of the planning team. Please note that these roles are planning focussed, there will be additional parent support called for prior and on the day of the festival to run each stream:
- Food & Beverages
- Fundraising Stalls (ie mystery jars, chocolate trailer, face painting, raffles etc)
- Community activities and Active Zone (ie local sporting clubs, scouts, pipebands etc)
- Marketing & Communications
- Sponsorship (as a side note, please let us know if your business would be interested in being a sponsor for 2026 as we would love to support you!)
- Mainstage Performances (sourcing and scheduling)
- Event Project Manager (any experience here would be welcomed)
Guaranteed laughs at all meetings and the added perk of free ride wristbands for your kids for all planning team members (worth $50 each at the last festival). Meetings will be held monthly and in the evenings (approx 7:00pm).
If you are interested, please send an email to Emma Adams (emma.jae.collins@gmail.com) or Mel Lawrence (Melanie.444@live.com) with an indication of your preferred stream by 30th May.
Thanks everyone
Melanie Lawrence and Emma Adams
