Cartoon Workshop with Brett Cardwell

On Tuesday, our Year 3-6 and F-2 Student Voice Team captains had the exciting opportunity to take part in a cartooning workshop with local artist Brett Cardwell as part of Book Week.

Brett shared his passion for drawing and showed students how simple shapes can be transformed into expressive and creative characters.

Students thoroughly enjoyed trying out new techniques, learning step-by-step drawing skills, and bringing their unique ideas to life on paper. It was a fun and engaging experience that inspired many budding cartoonists in our classrooms!

FATHER'S DAY BREAKFAST

On Thursday, 4th September, we will host our annual Father's/Special Persons Day stall. Students will have an opportunity to visit their stall with their class throughout the day to choose a gift. We have a range of gifts for Dad as well as a selection of gifts for a special person, should your child wish to select one of these instead. This event is now on Compass. If you would like to purchase more than one gift, don't hesitate to get in touch with the office before completing the event on Compass. If your child is absent on Thursday, there will be an opportunity to choose a gift on Friday.

On the morning of Friday, 5th September, we invite all of our Dads/Special persons to a Cheese Toastie Breakfast.

BRICK PAVER FUNDRAISER

Just a reminder, our Brick Paver Fundraiser is still open. For $50, your family can become part of our school's history. If you, a family member or a local business would like to order a paver, you can do so using the QR code below or by following this LINK. We hope you will support our school to fill the external gym wall with pavers; it is going to look amazing.
