Welcome to the 2026 school year and an especially warm welcome to Year 9! This year marks an exciting step in your secondary school journey—a time to grow in confidence, deepen your learning, and discover more about who you are and what you’re capable of.

Year 9 is all about stepping up. You’ll be encouraged to take greater responsibility for your learning, build stronger relationships, and challenge yourself both inside and outside the classroom. With new subjects, fresh expectations, and a wide range of opportunities, this year is designed to help you develop the skills you’ll need for the years ahead.
