Parent Opinion Survey

The 2026 Parent and Caregiver Opinion Survey is now available for completion online from Monday 24 August to Friday 18 September 2026.

The survey seeks feedback from parents on:

• school climate
• community engagement in learning
• teaching practices for student engagement and outcomes
• attitudes towards school attendance.

The link and PIN to log on and complete the survey was sent to parents last Wednesday - please check your emails. 

We greatly value parent opinion - your views have resulted in many changes around the school in past years, so please participate in the survey.

Reminder Curriculum Days - Student Free Days

Reminder that there are two final Curriculum Days (Student Free Days) for 2026:

Monday 5 October (first day of Term 4)

Monday 2 November (day before Melbourne Cup Day)

I wanted to remind parents of this strategy, just to be clear on the timeframes, types and expectations around communication to/from the school. We value engagement with parents and want to be sure that it is purposeful and respectful. If you haven't seen this document please click the link and find the document for a quick read.

New Report Template for 2027

The Department of Education is mandating a standard template for school reports, starting in 2027. We are not yet 100% clear on what this will look like or what content they will contain - we will inform parents as we get more information.

WANTED - Spot Welder

Can you help?? We need someone with a spot welder that can fix a railing for us. It is only a small job but does need someone with the specialist equipment. Please contact the school if you can assist us.

Late Deliveries

We understand that sometimes things need to be delivered to the school for your children (food, clothes, drink bottles, medicines, etc). Please be advised that these items must be delivered via the office and will not be delivered to the classroom until just before recess or just before lunchtime - we won't be interrupting class time.

Parents might like to time these late deliveries to pre-recess and pre-lunch.

                            Recess is 11.15am - 11.45am

                            Lunch is 1.35pm - 2.35pm (include 10min eating time)
