What a memorable day for our Year 7s to leave a positive impression at Volleyball Victoria’s three-day tournament!

Out of our six teams from Year 7, the Div 1 Boys and Girls both received silver medals, both the Div 2 Girls teams received gold and bronze, and the Div 3 Girls received bronze. The Year 7 Div 2 Boys placed 8th.

The Year 11 Boys honours team qualified for Nationals with their silver medal. Andreja Horvat received MVP for the Year 11 Boys honours division. The Year 11 Girls placed 7th and the Year 11 Boys Div 1 placed 5th.

A highlight of the Intermediate day was the high-level games, particularly from our Year 10 Boys and Girls honours teams who both won gold (both qualifying for Nationals) and our Year 10 Div 1 Boys received bronze.

Other results: The Year 10 Div 1 Girls (7th), Year 9 Honours Boys (4th), Year 9 Div 1 Boys (5th), Year 9 Honours Girls (8th) and Year 9 Div 1 Girls (6th).

McKinnon Secondary received the "Spirit of the cup" award for the school with the best team spirit, our athletes recognised for their great sportsmanship on and off the court. A huge thank you to all the athletes for participating and we are so lucky for the tremendous support we have from our dedicated coaches and teachers involved.
