School Photos

The School Photographer will be visiting on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 July (week 2, term 3) to take student portrait and class photos.

Last year school council reviewed school photography companies to find one that would be good fit to understand our needs and capture our students at their best.

The School Photographer was chosen based on their prior work with other special schools and their flexibility with where and how they take individual and class photos.

If you are interested in placing an order, please check out the QR code in this flyer, alternatively, hard copy envelopes will be sent home providing further instructions on how you can order. Please note that there are a couple of set packages selected for our families as best value options to buy individual and class photos.

New Gym

Over the past few weeks, Secondary and Transition students have been visiting the new gym with the support from members of our Allied Health team, Eliza and Alexis. These photos show a few of our students enjoying working out with our new equipment.

New Building Opening

On Wednesday 6 August, we will have two special celebrations to officially open our new building. In the morning, a local MP will visit for a school tour and special whole school assembly lead by our student leaders to cut the red ribbon and unveil a plaque to commemorate the opening.

From 2-4pm the wider school community and past Croydon SDS families, students and staff are invited to attend an opening which will include student led tours and an afternoon tea to celebrate our modern and fit for purpose new office, warm water pool, library, gym, staffroom and a classroom. Please feel free to share this invitation with any past Croydon SDS families you may see.

School Council

I would like to introduce you to our 2025 School Council. Our councillors are available to chat with parents and carers about many school matters, whether you have comments, questions, wondering or concerns, we'd really like to hear from you.
