NDIS Navigator

Funding Periods:

From 19 May 2025, different funding periods are being introduced to new and reassessed NDIS plans. This change will be gradually rolled out with new or reassessed plans. Funding periods will usually be set at three-months on the basis this gives flexibility to participants but also help participants manage budgets.

For further information, the NDIA is running an online information session, (that will be repeated at 3 different times),

• Wednesday, 25 June 2025 (1:00pm-2:00pm AEST) 
• Monday, 30 June 2025 (6:00pm-7:00pm AEST) 
• Thursday, 3 July 2025 (11:00am-12:00pm AEST)

Pathways to Post School Life:

For students who will be graduating from school this year or next year, there is an online information session being run on (all sessions are the same, just on at different times) :

• Tuesday, 24 June 2025 (10:00m-11:00am AEST) 
• Wednesday, 25 June 2025 (7:00pm-8:00pm AEST)
• Thursday, 26 June 2025 (10:00am -11:00am AEST) 

These sessions are being run for parents who have children attending a specialist school, so there is no need to register, you can click on the link directly in the flyer attached below:

Feedback about NDIS Navigator Service 

The Department of Education has created NDIS Navigators in Victorian Government specialist schools and has employed Deloitte Access Economics to evaluate the service. Families are invited to share their feedback to help improve the service.
