The Geoff Herkes Memorial Concert

The Geoff Herkes Memorial Concert Sunday 4th August.

The Geoff Herkes Memorial Concert is a collaboration between The Ballarat Jazz Club and The Ballarat High School Performing Arts department in celebration of the wonderful legacy, initiated by Geoff over a decade ago.

The afternoon's entertainment features student musicians across Years 8 to 12 performing jazz/blues/contemporary music with an emphasis on improvisation. The feature bracket of the show will be a set by our Senior Stage Band.

The event is generously supported by the Ballarat Jazz Club and is always a fabulous event.

Meraki Minds

Ballarat High School music alumni, Paula Maki, Peggy Hills and Sam Bailey are touring regionally at the moment in support of their new single release, recorded at Sunny South Studio by another music alumni and present day staff member, Sam Boon.

The Band has been featured on Rage and has built a strong reputation both online and through their live shows.
