The Year 8 Boys team had 3 matches against Mount Clear College (3 goals to 0 goals), Beaufort Secondary College (11 goals to 0 goals) and Mount Rowan Secondary College (5 goals to 0 goals). The team went undefeated for the day and more impressively didn’t let a single goal through the net for all the competition!
The Year 8 Girls team had 2 matches against Mount Clear College (0 goals to 4 goals) and Beaufort Secondary College (0 goals to 2 goals). Unfortunately the girls weren’t able to get one past the keeper but they all had a great time regardless.

On Wednesday 26th June, BHS took our Junior Boys Football teams to the SSV Greater Western Region Senior Junior Boys Football competition at the Marty Busch Reserve, Sebastopol.

The competition consisted on 4 teams competing in a Round Robin competition. The BHS team had matches against Trinity College (17pts to 8pts), Horsham College (9pts to 31pts) and Emmanuel College (6pts to 61pts). The team only ended with one win for the day but battled on valiantly regardless, finished in 4th place.

In the Year 7 Girls competition, BHS team had just one opponent in Colac Secondary College, a typically very strong badminton school. The team played a best of 14 set match to determine a winner. Unfortunately, the girls had a tough battle on their hands going down 2 sets to 12 sets but secured the runners up pennant as a consolation prize.
Finally, the Year 7 Boys also had a one off match against local school Woodmans Hill Secondary College. The team played a best of 13 set match to determine the winner.
