AFL 9's District Finals

On Friday 17th of July, Brighton Primary School was invited to represent the Seaside District at the AFL 9's district finals event. The event was held at Bonbeach Football and Netball precinct. 

Of our original 11 players that made it to district level, only 7 were able to play on the day, with additional players being called up during the week. The team played really well and represented our school beautifully. Although we did not win any of the 3 games, there were some exceptional moments of football and teamwork. 

Everyone who represented the school should be proud of their achievements. We would like to thank the parents for helping us put together such a fun experience for our footballers, particularly those parents who attended and ensured our players could get to and from the venue.
