NDIS Navigator

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all staying warm in this cold weather!
It was lovely to see so many of you at our recent communication information session with Helen Tainsh last week. I shared briefly about accessing Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) tools through NDIS funding.
If anyone has and questions following this session or if you couldn't attend, I would love to speak with you to help ensure that your child is getting the most out of their NDIS plan to support their communication development.
To book a time with me, you can call the office, pop in on a Wednesday or Friday, or email me at katherine.coller@education.vic.edu.au .
NDIS Updates
Whilst we've been hearing a lot about the NDIS recently in the news, many of the proposed changes are still going through parliamentary processes, and there are likely to be changes to what has been shared before anything is rolled out. At this stage, it's there is no certainty around what changes will or won't be implemented. I know that this ambiguity can be unsettling, and I am more than happy to chat through any of these concerns with you in the interim.
But for now, I would like to encourage you that there are no major changes in motion currently, and any person who's plan would be affected by these changes will be notified in advance.
As always, if you would like to chat about NDIS or have any questions, I would love to meet with you. My working days are Wednesdays and Fridays.
