Feast of Mary MacKillop Liturgy

Last Friday, our school came together to celebrate the Feast of Mary MacKillop. It was a beautiful liturgy that reminded us of Mary’s enduring message to “never see a need without doing something about it.” The students led with reverence and joy, and it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how we can live her values in our everyday actions.

Feast of the Assumption

Today, our school community came together to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady’s Assumption into heaven. It was a beautiful reminder that, just like preparing for any important moment in life, as Christians, we are called to prepare for our life in heaven. Mary shows us what it means to live with faith and commitment to God. Students joined the parishioners in a thoughtful and reverent Mass, and it was wonderful to see the two together joining in the celebration of the Eucharist on this special holy day of obligation.

School Mass Sunday 24th August

As part of our strategic plan is to strengthen the relationship between St Mary’s School and our Parish community, students and staff will be participating in Sunday Mass on 24th August. We warmly encourage all families to attend and be part of this special celebration. Attending Mass as a school community supports our students in understanding their faith, seeing it in action, and recognising the importance of belonging to both the school and parish. It’s also a wonderful way to demonstrate the strong connection between home, school and Church. We look forward to sharing this time with you and hope to see many of our families there.
