District Athletics
Next Thursday we will be sending a team of around 40 students to compete in the Footscray District Athletics Carnival at Moonee Ponds Athletics track. We wish them all the best and trust that they will represent our school with pride.
Footy Colours Dress Up Day
Just planning ahead, on Friday 1st September we will celebrate the AFL final series with the return of our annual ‘Footy Colours Dress-Up Day’.
On this day children are invited to wear their favourite AFL team colours to school and I hope to see a sea of black and white (Go Pies!)
Fathers' Day Brekky
Also on Friday 1st September, we will kick off Fathers' Day Weekend (ha ha), with our Fathers’ Day Breakfast.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 am until 8:45 am and what better to serve dad than a hot bacon and egg roll? Don’t forget to wear your Footy Colours to school (dads and children)!
Fathers' Day Stall
Following breakfast, our traditional Fathers’ Day Stall will return. There will be a myriad of gifts to choose from starting from as little as $2.00. It is up to each family to decide what would be an appropriate amount to spend.
Fathers' Day Helpers
In the coming days, we will send home an Operoo Communication to families requesting parent helpers for our Fathers' Day Breakfast and Stall. If you are available to help out (and have an up-to-date WWCC) we would love for you to respond via the Operoo request.
Staffing & Budgets 2024
This may seem a little early but if any family is not returning to Corpus Christi School in 2024 it would be really helpful to know as it will affect our staffing schedule. Please inform the school office as soon as possible if you are not returning in 2024.
