Minecraft Education 

I am delighted to share the exciting news that Corpus Christi Primary School has now gained access to Minecraft Education. This will be accessible for Years 3 - 6. With the direction from class teachers and through curriculum planning, Minecraft Education may be implemented in the classroom as part of an Inquiry or Digital Tech unit. 

Minecraft Education as an innovative platform opens up a world of creative and educational possibilities for our students. Through immersive virtual environments, students can engage in collaborative building, problem-solving, and exploration, fostering teamwork and critical thinking skills. 

With its interactive and versatile nature, Minecraft Education provides a unique avenue for learning across subjects, from history and geography to mathematics and science. Our students will have the opportunity to develop not only digital literacy but also a deeper understanding of complex concepts through hands-on experiences. 

This integration of Minecraft Education into our curriculum promises to ignite a new level of enthusiasm for learning, encouraging our students to discover, create, and excel in a dynamic and captivating educational setting.

Currently the Year 5/6 Community has begun integrating Educational Minecraft into their Inquiry Unit - Kids Building Future Healthy. This unit has taken a look at the 3 spheres of health: Being Active, Eating Well and Feeling Connected. 

Students have been thoroughly engaged in this unit. They have created an 'About Me' bio and have completed an audit of their school. Stay tuned as the students begin to enter their quests into the online digital Minecraft World.
