PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
MRS MICHELLE HAEUSLER - PRINCIPAL

Welcome back to everyone, I hope that the winter break was a restful one. Term 3 has started with a blast of cold weather and numerous students representing the school in various sports. This week it was Netball, and next week AFL Football. I am sure that our students participated in good spirits and represented our school with pride.
Our students and staff are also busy rehearsing for the upcoming school musical “Mamma Mia”. Tickets are now on sale for sessions on Friday 14th August at 7:00pm and Sunday 16th August at 2:00pm. The annual school production is an event not to miss, so make sure you purchase your tickets soon.
On Monday 27th July at 2:00pm all mobile devices will receive an alert. The alert is an Australia-wide test of a new AusAlert system. Information has been shared with all students and our Learning Support staff have been working with individual students to ensure that no student is unduly distressed by the alert. If you have any concerns for your child, please contact the school.
Grade 6 students from local Primary schools will be on site on Wednesday 29th July for their second Transition Day. It will be great to see them involved in a variety of activities on this day. Information has been shared with Year 10 students and their Parents/Guardians, as Year 10 students have been asked to study from home on this day. Please read the letter sent home last week for more information, or contact the school.
There is so much to look forward to this term. I encourage all students to take up any opportunities and continue to be the best they can be.
