Welcome to Term 3 at Clovelly Park Primary School!
Dear Families,
Welcome back to a new term! We hope you have all enjoyed a wonderful holiday period and had the chance to spend quality time with your loved ones, creating special memories together.
To start the term, we will be sending home some useful information on the very first day, Monday 20th July. Please note that this day is a Pupil Free Day for our students, with teachers participating in professional learning to further strengthen the quality teaching at Clovelly Park Primary School.
Looking ahead, we are planning to host some 'Working Bees' throughout the term and would love your involvement. A Working Bee is a community event where families, staff, and students come together to help improve our school’s environment. This term, we will focus on beautifying our garden beds, and painting the rails and doors into our classroom units. These projects provide a fantastic opportunity for our community to collaborate and take pride in our school. If you are interested in participating, please register your interest by emailing us at: dl.0932.info@schools.sa.edu.au. Every contribution is greatly appreciated.
We are continuing our journey with Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) this term. PBL supports a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive, and we look forward to even more growth in this space in the coming weeks.
A reminder that wearing the correct school uniform helps foster a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. It also supports a positive and inclusive school identity where students feel they are part of a team, which ultimately supports engagement with learning.
Regular school attendance and punctuality are also key for student success. Being on time and at school each day allows your child to connect with their peers, actively engage in learning, and reduces the risk of missing out on important lessons and experiences. This contributes positively to both their learning progress and mental wellbeing.
We are excited to begin Term 3 together and look forward to another successful and rewarding term with your child.
Warm regards,
Kylie Tuckey
