School Council

School Council met on 25 June and welcomed the news that Jessie Storm would be the new staff rep, taking over from Ms S, who will begin parental leave early next term. We thank Ms S for her incredible contribution over the past three and a half years, including her involvement in the development of the school's performing arts space, and wished her all the best.

The updated Parent & Carer WhatsApp Code of Conduct was endorsed, reaffirming the groups as spaces for sharing information and building community connections.

The Principals Report included updates on staff professional learning, upcoming facilities improvements and planning for the Annual Report Community Forum.

Renewal works for the oval were approved, designed to improve the playing surface and support its long-term sustainability.

The Diversity & Inclusion Committee, reported on work to strengthen support networks for families and explore additional student leadership and mentoring opportunities.

The Next School Council meeting will be held on Thursday 30 July.
