Croydon Hills Primary School is delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional NAPLAN results. For the fourth consecutive year, our students achieved record NAPLAN results, highlighted by our Year 5 cohort recording an average scale score of 535.6—an increase of 20.4 points on last year, a result expected to place our school amongst Victoria's top 100 performing government primary schools.
While the infographic below highlights some of our outstanding achievements, these results are particularly noteworthy given the higher-than-usual number of Exempt students, especially in Year 3. Under NAPLAN reporting rules, Exempt students are included in the overall proficiency calculations despite not sitting the assessments.
I congratulate our students on their efforts, our dedicated staff on creating an optimal learning environment and their exceptional delivery of education, and our families for their ongoing support. Together, these results reflect our shared commitment to providing every student with the opportunity to achieve their personal best.

The Australian Education Union (AEU) has endorsed a stop-work strike on Thursday 23 July.
The school is currently working through the impact of the industrial action and will communicate which classes are affected and the supervision arrangements to families as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience while these arrangements are finalised and encourage families, where possible, to consider alternative care arrangements for their children on this day.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
