The Ultimate Way To Get To School

This week, students from Year 1 - Year 6 completed their Cold Write for Term 2. 

Cold Write's are a benchmark writing assessment conducted across all schools in the Armidale Diocese which involves an unassisted and unrevised piece of writing, with the purpose to provide a quick gauge of the student's mastery of the characteristics of a given genre. 

This term it was a persuasive text in which students had to persuade the reader on the ultimate way to get to school. While we did hear some very convincing arguments about why walking to school is better than getting dropped off on the bus or by car, there were also some creative solutions, including; skateboards, F1 Racing cars, trains and even some boats.
