Community, Gratitude & What’s Ahead

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and Stall to life. It was a truly special event for our school community.

With almost 190 tickets sold, it was wonderful to welcome so many mums, grandmothers, aunts and mother figures.They were treated to a delicious buffet of finger food and sweets along with some creative and hands‑on activities like bouquet arranging, building key rings, creating custom simmer pot blends, making personalised bookmarks, and

plenty of fun at the photo wall.

We would like to thank Mrs Connolly and our wonderful school choir for their beautiful performance. A special thank you as well to Marnie Armstrong from Broadbent Dance and the talented St Mark’s Emeralds aerobics team for their

energetic and entertaining performance!

A very special thank you to our incredible volunteers who helped the day run so smoothly: Mel, Christina, Amanda, Suzie, Pauline, Trill, Priscilla (and mum), Milena, Rachel, Nicole, Frank, Ben, Luke, Mark B, Mark E, Serena, Ryan, Brooke, Kate, Danni. We simply couldn’t run these events without the support of our amazing parent helpers—thank you for giving your time so generously. Thanks also to those who ran our stall so efficiently: Cassandra, Sienna, Diana, Jason, Lauren, Catherine, Jade, Julie, Andrew, Anna, Jo and Alidiyah and to the St Mark's staff and Stasia from Team Kids who all pitched in to help make the day a great success.

A big congratulations to our raffle winners! We hope you enjoy your fantastic prizes. We also extend our thanks to our very generous donors who helped make the raffle such a

success.

And finally, our Mother’s Day Stall was also a huge success, with students excitedly choosing special gifts for the important women in their lives. We hope all our mums, grandmothers and special loved ones enjoyed their thoughtful presents and felt celebrated on Mother’s Day.

Thank you to everyone who supported the stall and helped make it such a positive experience for the students and to Frances and Andrew for all their support and assistance in the lead up to the day and during the event.

Together, all our Mother’s Day celebrations raised an incredible $3400 for our school. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make the day so

memorable!

Over the coming weeks, the PA will be gathering feedback from families about how we can best invest funds into upgrading our school.

We encourage everyone to take part in the upcoming survey when it is released – this is your chance to share your ideas and have your say on future improvements for our school

community.
