It has been wonderful having you join us for Year 3, Julian. You have worked so hard to learn English and have taken responsibility for your own learning by asking lots of questions and seeking out extra work. You have taken part in all aspects of Syndal school life. We loved having you on camp, in the musical and other school events. We will miss you and hope to hear from you from China. 

Olivia, well done for the effort and determination you have shown in your Maths learning. This week, you effectively used your times tables to help you balance multiplication equations, and it was wonderful to see the resilience you showed throughout the lesson. What a super mathematician you are!  

Well done, Brodie, on a fantastic week of writing. You demonstrated a strong understanding of the fluency texts about the fairy penguins and Malala Yousafzai through clear, concise, and well-informed summaries. Your writing has developed tremendously over the year, and you should be very proud of your progress. Excellent work, Brodie!

Well done Sian for the wonderful effort you put into your written reflections about camp and the school musical. You were able to recall the more important events in sequence, expanded on your word knowledge and wrote with a passionate insight by including your personal feelings. Congratulations, Liya, for your excellent participation in our Respectful Relationships program. You designed a creative ‘Gender Fair, Safe and Inclusive Machine’ which included ideas such as there being no such thing as a boy or girl colour, that everyone can cook, and that chores are everyone’s responsibility.
