Before and Afterschool Care

Potion Club

Last week we participated in Potion Club by making a Happy Potion as suggested by the children. We made our own orange juice and mixed berries into our juice. The children really enjoyed this and provided feedback on how they would like to do editable potions more often.

Culture Club

We have had a busy week last week with Culture Club! Last week we explored the UK, specifically we made scones and enjoyed an afternoon tea together. The children enjoyed discussing what they know about the UK and famous landmarks that some of them have been to. We stamped our passports and documented our learning in our passports.

This week we will be exploring France by enjoying a picnic and making baguettes. Children are very excited to participate in this as it is something they have requested for a while.

Reminders

Just a friendly reminder to please ensure we are bringing our hats to Teamkids! As the weather is warming up we want to ensure we are being SunSmart when we are outdoors!

Upcoming Events!

Next week we will be having our fairy bread day celebrations on the 24/11. As we do every year, fairy bread day is a day that raises awareness about youth mental health. More details will come out closer to the date!
