TERM 1 CONTAINER RECYCLING COMPETITION

Another big week of drink container recycling at KSC! 🧃

There were 709 items for this week, taking the Term 1 total to 1545 (end of week 5).

The Year 7’s again came out the winners this week with 290 recyclable drink containers, meaning they hold the number ONE spot for another week. 

The Year 8’s improved their recycling by 97%, compared to last week, and have jumped to second place. 

8A did a yard search last Friday before the count, finding a whopping 157 recyclable items on the ground or in the normal bins. This helped the Year 8 total considerably and has put them in the running to win the Term 1 HOT CHIP LUNCH.

Make sure all your recyclable drink containers make it to our special orange bins. We are being a fantastic sustainable school. Keep up the great work!
