Deputy Principal's Report

Midway Through
With the chilly weather upon us, it's important that we all stay on top of keeping warm. We've noticed an increase in the number of students coming to school without jumpers, and while they seem to be toughing it out, we ask for your help in making sure they're warm and prepared for the cold outside. School beanies and extra jackets are available for purchase at the uniform shop if needed. There is also a large number of unclaimed jumpers in lost property, located in the Prep/Year 1 corridor. Please feel free to come and take a look if you are missing any school items. Please also remember to have everything clearly labelled so we can ensure it gets back to the correct owner.
Celebrating All Things Science
We had an amazing Science incursion on Monday, which the whole school was invited to attend. The scientist leading the day was full of energy, and the kids were highly engaged. You may have already heard some of the highlights at home.
Next week, the school will be celebrating Science Week. All year levels have been investigating science units throughout the term, but there will be even more fun, hands-on opportunities for our kids to explore different elements of science and how it impacts us and the world around us.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
Peggy McDonald & Laura Zeeng
