Williamstown Campus  News

School Production

Our recent school production was a fantastic success. Congratulations to every student and staff member involved, both on stage and behind the scenes.

One of the most rewarding parts of the production each year is seeing our Year 7-9 Williamstown students grow in confidence and continue to develop their performance skills. It was wonderful to see many students build on their experience from previous years and perform with increasing confidence. Everyone involved should be very proud of what they achieved.

Campus Ramp Works

Our ramp works are due to be completed this week, marking an important improvement to accessibility and compliance across the campus.

The works have also provided an opportunity to refresh a number of surrounding areas, and it is great to see these spaces looking renewed, more accessible and more welcoming for our students, families and staff.

Parent Opinion Survey

The Parent Opinion Survey will be distributed this week, providing families with an important opportunity to share their views about our school.

The annual survey seeks feedback across areas including student learning, engagement, wellbeing, communication, school climate and the relationship between families and the school. We highly value this feedback, as the results help us understand what our community believes we are doing well and where there are opportunities for further improvement.

I encourage families who receive the survey to take some time to complete it. Your feedback plays an important role in informing our future planning and improvement work.

Casual Clothes Day – Tuesday 1 September

A reminder that Tuesday 1 September is a Casual Clothes Day.

Students are welcome to attend school in casual clothes, with further information communicated to students and families as required.

Parent Teacher Interviews – Wednesday 9 September

Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on Wednesday 9 September.

The partnership between families and the school is essential to supporting student learning, engagement and wellbeing. These conversations provide an important opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate successes and identify any areas for further support or development.

I strongly encourage families to make a booking. If your child’s teacher is unavailable at a suitable time, please contact them via email to arrange an alternative opportunity to receive an update.

End of Term – Friday 18 September

A reminder that Friday 18 September is the final day of Term 3.

Thank you to our students, families and staff for their continued support and contribution throughout what has been a busy and productive term.

Regards,

Michael Sperling
