We were thrilled to welcome two incredible authors to our school recently for an inspiring dive into the world of storytelling! Our P-2 enjoy Katrina Naanestad and 3-6 Morris Gleitzman.

Throughout the sessions, our guest authors unpacked the heart of the writer’s craft, sharing how ideas evolve into full stories and revealing the secrets to creating characters.  Students were captivated as they learned how writer’s can evoke deep emotion with the art of making readers laugh out loud one minute and feel genuinely moved the next. It was an unforgettable experience that left our young writers brimming with enthusiasm and eager to begin writing wonderful stories of their own.

Art Club

This vibrant piece of artwork stands as a beautiful reflection of our community's unity, creativity, and connection. Launched on Harmony Day and brought to life through Art Club, the artwork contrasts the uniqueness of the individual with the strength of the collective whole.

Each contribution highlights that while every story, perspective, and personal expression is special on its own, bringing them together creates something far greater and more powerful. Thank you to Ms. Trusler for the artistic vision, and to all the talented student "hands" who gave their time and creativity to complete this piece.
