Senior Girls Table Tennis
Congratulations to Senior girls representing Bayside P-12 College at the table tennis state finals, a fantastic achievement.
Intermediate Table Tennis
Our intermediate girls table tennis won their division last week and will represent the college at Division finals in October.
MAV Maths Games
On Friday August 7th, 8 brave Year 12 math3maticians ventured into the world of the RMIT Maths Challenge armed with their problem-solving skills, determination, and perhaps a little mathematical courage! They tackled some seriously challenging problems, had plenty of fun along the way, and achieved an impressive result.
We are incredibly proud of the students for representing our school so enthusiastically! Well done to our brilliant math3maticians!
Snow Camp
Our Year 11 and 12 students recently enjoyed an incredible trip to Mount Buller, where they embraced the alpine environment while developing their snowboarding skills.
As part of their VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies learning, students experienced firsthand the relationship between people and alpine environments. They observed the effects of changing environmental conditions, including the impacts of climate change on snow cover and delicate alpine ecosystems, and explored the importance of conservation and sustainable management in protecting this unique landscape for future generations.
Over several days on the mountain, students challenged themselves on the slopes, demonstrated resilience and a high level of dedication to their progression. They made the most of every opportunity. The camp was filled with encouragement, laughter, and shared achievements, strengthening friendships and building confidence along the way.
The trip was a wonderful example of how Bayside College students embrace new challenges and grow through meaningful experiences and experiential learning beyond the classroom.
