WPS ART SHOW 2026 – “AUSTRALIAN MADE”

We are excited to invite our families and wider community to one of the highlights of the Williamstown Primary School calendar – the 2026 WPS Art Show: Australian Made!

This year’s theme, Australian Made, will celebrate Australian creativity, culture, places, stories and identity through the eyes of our students.

The Art Show is also our major school fundraiser for the year, bringing our community together for two fantastic events while showcasing the creativity and talent of every student at WPS.

Adults-Only Cocktail Night – Friday 23 October  7 - 11pm

Our Adults-Only Cocktail Night will officially launch the Art Show and promises to be a fantastic social night for parents, carers and friends of WPS.

Come together with our school community and enjoy food, drinks and music while exploring our Australian Made exhibition and the incredible artwork created by our students.

A highlight of the evening will be the conclusion of our Class Art Piece Auction. Each class will create a unique collaborative artwork inspired by this year’s Australian Made theme, with all class pieces available for online auction in the lead-up to the event.

Bidding will culminate with the announcement of the winning bidders at Cocktail Night – so keep an eye on your favourite piece and get your bids in!

As our major fundraiser for 2026, we encourage all WPS parents, carers and friends to get behind the event. Grab some friends, organise a group and join us for a great night of art, music, food, drinks and community.

Family & Community Day – Sunday 25 October  12 - 3pm

The celebrations continue on Sunday when we open the Art Show to WPS families and the wider Williamstown community.

Come along and explore our Australian Made exhibition, enjoy performances from our school bands and choir, catch up with other families and enjoy something from the WPS BBQ.

It will be a relaxed, family-friendly day and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students, showcase our school and welcome the broader community into WPS.
