Principals Message

As we enter this busy time of the year, I would like to acknowledge the commencement of the HSC exams. These are currently being held at the football clubrooms and will continue until November 7. We wish all our Year 11 and 12 students the very best of luck as they undertake these important assessments. I also extend heartfelt thanks to all staff members for their dedication and support in preparing our students leading up to the exams.

Congratulations to the many students in Years 7 to 10 who have earned the highest number of Positive Behaviour (PB) awards this year. These outstanding students have demonstrated consistent commitment, respect, and responsibility in their learning and interactions. They will be rewarded with an exciting excursion to Jambaroo, celebrating their achievements—well done to all!

This term, we warmly welcome back Mrs Quilter and Ms Taylor, who have returned to school part-time after their maternity leave. It’s wonderful to have them back as part of the teaching team.

A reminder to all families that, due to our compressed curriculum model, academic year rollover will occur on Monday of Week 6, November 17. Students are expected to come prepared with their books and equipment for the new year.

Over the holidays, we completed building works converting the old uniform shop into a new room for the Stars Foundation. The uniform shop has been successfully relocated to the back of the Hall. These projects are nearing completion and should be finished within the next week.

Thank you all for your ongoing support as we continue to provide a safe, supportive, and dynamic learning environment for our students.

Ms Tania Maddison

Principal
